Carved and painted pine with MDF, gesso and fabric.

This piece was exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy Summer Exhibition cat no 1 where it sold at the private view. Unfortunately in the course of the exhibition it developed cracks to the body. These were fixed with the ancient technique of gesso and fabric at a later date. The cabinet opens to reveal a small Noah’s ark scene.
